Adobe releases Adobe Voice

Adobe has stepped away from releasing mobile versions of their popular Photoshop and Lightroom software to expand into the mobile market with a brand new tool. Meet Adobe Voice, an all-new storytelling app for the iPad.

Released Thursday, Adobe Voice gives users the ability combine music, voice recordings, pictures and even special effects into a unique animated video that can be shared with family and friends.

“Adobe Voice puts the power of Creative Cloud’s industry-leading video and audio technology into the hands of the masses,” Winston Hendrickson, Adobe’s vice-president of products for Creative Media Solutions, said in a release. “Our move to Creative Cloud has given us a much broader canvas for innovation and attracted many new users to Adobe. We believe Adobe Voice, and other mobile apps expected in the next few months, will continue the momentum we’re seeing.”

The app requires iPad 2 or higher and iOS 7. It can be downloaded via the iTunes App Store.
