There is some big news breaking out of the technology world. CNBC is reporting that electronics gadgets giant Apple, known for their computers, iPods, iPhones and iPads, could be adding another device to their arsenal, headphones.

As opposed to launching their own line of headphones to compete with established makers like Beats by Dre, or Bose, Apple is reportedly interested in buying one of them instead for a record $3.2 billion.

Now these are just talks and nothing more at the moment. But it certainly is interesting news for Apple’s faithful following and brings about some immediate questions. How will Beats sound technology be integrated into already existing devices like the speakers in their mobile devices, computers and laptops. Right now their mobile devices come with the iconic white headphones, but would those be replaced by Beats line of earbuds? Or would Beats technology be used in the current earbuds.

Not to mention that Beats launched a music streaming service recently, a competitor to Apple’s iTunes Radio.

CNBC is also reporting that a deal could be announced as early as next week.

It certainly is exciting news, and FanSided will keep you up to date as more news comes out.
