Jimmy Fallon ran the 40-yard dash with Jadeveon Clowney

Preparing for the 2014 NFL Draft, former South Carolina defensive end and potential number one selection Jadeveon Clowney stopped by the Tonight Show set on Wednesday night where he and host Jimmy Fallon shot the breeze.

The always eccentric Fallon put together a fantastic interview with Clowney, but that wasn’t the only highlight of the evening. Nope, in fact, Fallon decided to get himself in the football spirit by overtaking the NBC studios and turning them into a mini NFL combine.

Well, kind of.

As the two were wrapping their interview, Clowney challenged the SNL alum to a 40-yard dash and while the defensive star obviously couldn’t participate (could you imagine a strained hamstring thanks to a talk show appearance?), Fallon was more than happy to do.

Running through an NBC hallway complete with production staff, desks and Clowney at the other end with his stop watch in hand, the late night show booked it through the New York sound stage.

Shockingly, Fallon put up a pretty solidi time – especially for a guy wearing a suit and dress shoes.
