The NFL Draft is almost here and teams have finished with the scouting and sorting phase of the draft process and are in full-on trade mode. Most teams are listening to trades but a handful of teams are already making calls to see if they can move up from where they are currently picking.

One of those teams are the Philadelphia Eagles, who pick No. 22 overall but will likely have a higher pick than that when all is said and done. According to both Ian Rapoport and Eagles beat writer Geoff Mosher, Philly is already in active trade mode.

It’s long been speculated that the Eagles would try to move up to secure the speedy wide receiver they covet but they could be trading up for just about anyone. The bottom line is the team doesn’t feel comfortable picking at No. 22 and could make a leap into the teens to make their 2014 selection.
