Apple Rumors: iPhone 6 to launch in August?

facebooktwitterreddit

Typically Apple releases its new iPhone product in September, but with the iPhone 6, that may not be the case.  Thanks to a spot by Reuters, it looks like August is going to be the release month.

While the iPhone 6 is going to be launched in multiple different sizes, it sounds as if only the 4.7 inch model will be available in August.  The larger 5.5 inch model will be released in September.

With Apple taking their first leap into larger smartphones, it is no doubt as to why the 5.5 inch model will take a month longer to roll out.

Apple has been heavily tied to rumors suggesting they are targeting social trends with the iPhone 6 and will be debuting improved maps and having a strong focus on fitness initiatives.

Are you ready to make the upgrade from your current iPhone to the iPhone 6?  Is the larger model enough to get consumers to switch from other Android based devices?
