Browns used the 22th pick on Manziel, yes 22th

The Cleveland Browns had quite the wild first round in the 2014 NFL Draft. They traded back, then traded up to get cornerback Justin Gilbert out of Oklahoma State. Some were surprised that the browns didn’t take Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel and when he started sliding the Browns made another move to trade up and get Manziel with the No. 22 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.

So the Browns got a big steal in the late first round and some thought the Browns were the early winners of the draft, and then they went and did the most Browns thing ever on social media. The Browns announced Manziel was the 22th overall pick on Twitter.

Yes…. the 22th pick.
