Craig Sager to be discharged from hospital on Friday, more cancer treatments coming

In a bit of good news this Friday, it sounds like TNT sideline reporter Craig Sager is progressing with his cancer treatments and will be discharged from the hospital later on today. The news is much welcomed news to those who have followed Sager through the years and more importantly to his friends and family who know him.

Thanks to his gig with Turner Sports, Sager’s family extends beyond those we works and lives with to the masses of sports fans who have grown accustomed to his ace reporting and fantastical suits over the years. Sager is pro and while he may wear the ugliest suits ever tailored, he has made his mark with his excellent reporting in his long career.

Thankfully, it sounds like that career will continue long after this bout with acute leukemia as if we didn’t already appreciate Sager before, we certainly do now more than ever.
