The Denver Broncos hadn’t been too active so far in the NFL Draft, not that they had to be, but they picked up the pace in the second round and traded with the San Francisco 49ers to select a wide receiver that Peyton Manning will be very happy to have at his disposal.

With that No. 56 overall pick, the Broncos drafted the speedy wide receiver Cody Latimer out of Indiana.

The pick makes a lot of sense for the Broncos as they have a replacement for Eric Decker, in a way, but also have yet another speedy weapon to add on offense to make sure the unit performs the way it did in 2013 and doesn’t take a step back in any way.
