To say that basketball players are some of the strangest dressed human beings in the world is to really understate the situation we see on a nightly basis. There are no greater abusers of fashion laws than NBA players and we saw another example of that on Saturday night in Brooklyn.

As if Russell Westbrook’s Steve Urkel get-up wasn’t bad enough, he was absolutely topped by whatever Dwyane Wade threw together before Game 3 between the Brooklyn Nets and Miami Heat.

Emphasis on ‘threw together’ as that’s really the only way this combination of clothing can be put on the same body. Basketball players have long abused fashion laws and it’s part of what has given the NBA a fun and loose image at times.

But this also proves that simply wearing clothes does not mean someone is dressed.
