Fan at Tigers game catches foul ball while holding child (Video)

The Detroit Tigers picked up a huge 9-3 win against the Minnesota Twins today to improve to 21-11 on the season. Detroit currently sits in first place in the American League Central division standings.

Now at some point during this game, a fan who was walking to either his seat or the bathroom made a one handed grab on a foul ball that was hit by Twins’ catcher Kurt Suzuki. It was fouled off to the right and shot into the stands. There has been a ton of impressive catches and failed attempts by baseball fans over the years.

I remember one year a fan moved out of the way of a foul ball and it ended up hitting his now ex girlfriend. It doesn’t matter if it’s either a baseball or a bat flying into the crowd, there’s almost always a group of people looking to take it home.

Pretty impressive grab by this Father who definitely deserves an award for not dropping his kid. Well done good sir, well done.
