Today hasn’t been a good day for athletes when it comes to posting images and videos on social networking sites. First Kenny Britt posted a pornographic video on his Instagram. Now former Los Angeles Lakers forward Devin Ebanks has posted an explicit image of himself and another female on his twitter account.
Ebanks is a run-of-the-mill player that’ll likely spend the rest of his professional career in the Development League or professional team outside of the NBA, but it’s clear he’s better at basketball than he is at choosing which pictures to post or not post on his Twitter feed.
We’ve seen mistakes similar to this from countless athletes. If I had to guess, he meant to send the photo as a direct message to someone else instead of posting it as a tweet visible by the public.
Since the picture was posted, Ebanks has taken the easy way out, claiming that his account was hacked. Isn’t that original.
