Man oh man, Game of Thrones always has me begging for more after the end credits begin to roll. I believe tomorrow we’ll be halfway through season four which is pretty depressing when you realize that the season finale is closing in on us.

There has been a lot of twists, including one major death but I’m not going to post about it just in case some of you viewers need to catch up. But if you know what I’m talking about then you were probably as happy as I was when it happened. Now one of my favorite things about Game of Thrones besides the violence and such is the theme song.

It’s very catchy and I often find myself listening to it on YouTube at least once a day. I just need to give in and make it my ringtone. In my opinion, a theme song is a key piece to a television show. You have shows like ‘Boardwalk Empire’, ‘E.R.’, ‘The Sopranos’, ‘The Walking Dead’, ‘Sons of Anarchy’, etc. who have or had theme songs that pumped up those who tune(d) in.

Which brings me to our video. There have been tons of YouTube videos where musicians of all sorts putting their own little spin on one of the more people theme songs on television today. But one in particular video caught my eye. YouTuber ‘Dan Newbie’ only has a couple videos posted on his official channel but has covered songs such as the ‘Mario Brothers’ theme, Happy by Pharrell, Let It Go from Frozen and now Game of Thrones.

What’s interesting about this video is that he uses wine glasses, pencils, a full jug of water and other house holds items. In fact, he uses house hold items in every video that he has posted.

Here’s a look at his Game of Thrones performance:
