After missing 76 games this season with a fractured knee and torn Achilles, Kobe Bryant stated that he’s now 100 percent healthy. The Los Angeles Lakers, just off of one of its worst seasons in record, are excited to have Bryant healthy and ready to play once the season begins.
“From a health standpoint, 100 percent. I started doing a lot of on-court training and so I’m back into my routine. Then I’ll start lifting and start doing the running, which I hate. By the time the season comes around, I’ll be ready to go.”
Despite the 27-55 record, Bryant is staying positive about the Lakers ability to win next season.
“We’ll make changes, for sure. There’s certain characteristics that you have to build your team around in speed and length and rebounding and defense. We’ll make those adjustments.”
Nearly five months before training camp begins, Bryant has plenty of time to continue working his leg and remain healthy to rejoin the Lakers on the court.
