The Arizona Cardinals play in the toughest division in all of football. This was clearly evidenced by the fact last season that with their amazing record, had they played in any other division that didn’t include the Seahawks or 49ers, they would have been in the playoffs. So to compete even harder, they needed to make some good NFL Draft picks this weekend.

In the first round, they went out and got some defensive help in the secondary with the selection of Washington State safety Deone Bucannon.

If anything, they made one of the more controversial moves in the event by selecting QB Logan Thomas, who has a lot of obvious questions surrounding him, including whether or not he could even play the position or not at the next level.
