The Memphis Grizzlies will have a handful of offseason moves to deal with regarding their current roster, but in terms of potential free agents (or trade acquisitions) they have one goal in mind: add three-point shooters.
With an interior that features both Marc Gasol and presumably Zach Randolph, Memphis could certainly use some bodies to spread the floor and those will be major offseason targets, this according to CEO Jason Levien.
It’s an understandable decision as not only were the Grizzlies not good at shooting the three-ball but they also took a league low, 4.9 attempts per game.
Even worse? One of their most accurate and well-known three point gunners, Mike Miller, is a pending free agent and his return seemingly remains in the air.
Thankfully a handful of rather cheap talent who can knock down a trey will be available to the Grizzlies, so the team shouldn’t struggle too find potential additions/replacements as they attempt to re-tool for another playoff run come the 2014-15 season.
