What Penn State Nittany Lions’ head coach James Franklin has done on the recruiting trail is just a few months is nothing short of incredible.
Franklin is rolling again this week.
On Tuesday, both 4-star offensive tackle Sterling Jenkins and 4-star dual-threat quarterback Brandon Wimbush gave their pledges to the Penn State.
On Saturday, 3-star safety Ayron Monroe became the 16th verbal commitment for Penn State in the class of 2015.

Penn State offered Monroe at their Junior Day in February and he has since taken two unofficial visits to Happy Valley.
The 6’0, 195-pounder is from Washington, D.C. and attends St. John’s College High School. Monroe is the country’s 71st-rated safety prospect, the 10th-best overall prospect in Washington, D.C. and the 1,000th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Monroe chose Penn State over offers from the Auburn Tigers, Boston College Eagles, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Mississippi State Bulldogs, among others.
