The Boston Celtics will have one of the better picks in the 2014 NBA Draft, at minimum, along with possessing a handful of valuable assets currently on their own roster.
Needless to say, if the Celtics want to make some moves, they have the ammunition to do so and according to Jared Sullinger‘s father, a move to acquire a big man could be down the road.
Sullinger’s father, according to MassLive said his son was ‘kind of promised’ that the Celtics would acquire a true center.
Jared Sullinger’s father, Satch, recently told an Ohio news station that the Boston Celtics have “kind of promised” his son they would acquire a true center.
Sullinger is a bit undersized for the center position and the Celtics would benefit from getting a bigger, lengthier body in the paint alongside Sullinger who has more of a traditional power forward type body, a position where he puts up his best stats.
Sounds like a move that would benefit both player and team, assuming such an acquisition would take place.
