NFL Rumors: Chicago Bears list Jordan Lynch as running back
By Josh Hill
The Chicago Bears went out and signed undrafted free agent Jordan Lynch, who was up for the Heisman Trophy last year but didn’t end up winning it or getting drafted this weekend. The quarterback found a home though ash will remain in the state of Illinois — but he won’t remain at the same position.
On Sunday the Chicago Bears released their list of undrafted free agents signings and listed Lynch as a running back.
Now, I’m no quantum physicist but it would seem that getting nominated for the Hiesman Trophy for playing quarterback and then switching positions in the pros isn’t a really good thing. That being said, Lynch told reporters when he was signed that he was going to play anywhere the Bears asked him to, and that apparently was running back.
Lynch will now fight for a roster spot on a Bears offense that added Ka’Deem Carey and already touts Matt Forte.
