The Tampa Bay Rays like to keep things light in the clubhouse and they’ve become notorious for their wacky antics off the field as they prepare for games. That all starts with part-time manager, part-time party clown Joe Maddon who has helped make baseball fun in Tampa.

For today’s game, Maddon showed up in one of his bizarre outfits, this time as a Woodstock-era hippie.

It’s always fun to see what Maddon can come up with next as he’s been one of the more interesting managers to watch in baseball. While traditionalists hate him for making baseball less of a chore and more of an entertaining spectacle, Rays fans have come to love him and so too have general fans around the league.

He may not always have the best outfits, but he gets points for at least consistently trying.
