Calgary Flames sign David Wolf


The Calgary Flames announced today they have signed David Wolf to a one year contract.

Wolf is from Dusseldorf, Germany and has most recently been playing with the Hamburg Freezers in the German League throughout the past three seasons.

The contract is work $775,000 on the NHL level.

Throughout 48 games this season, Wolf has 14 goals, 40 points and a plus-14 rating.Wolf also has experience representing Germany in the World Under-18s and the World Junior Championship.

Wolf is expected to be an excellent addition to the Flames.
