After missing the playoffs in the 2013-14 season, the Los Angeles Lakers will obviously be looking to turn things around. They will have a new coach, a returning Kobe Bryant and will likely have a busy offseason, as they almost always do.

On Monday, the Lakers released their 2014 preseason schedule.

The Lakers will be playing games all over the state of California and will even venture out to Las Vegas for a matchup with the Sacramento Kings.

Their schedule is as follows:

  • October 6 vs. Denver Nuggets (Valley View Casino Center – San Diego, California)
  • October 9 vs. Golden State Warriors (Staples Center – Los Angeles, California)
  • October 12 vs. Golden State Warriors (Citizens Business Bank Arena – Ontaro, California)
  • October 16 vs. Utah Jazz (Honda Center – Anaheim, California)
  • October 19 vs. Utah Jazz (Staples Center – Los Angeles, California)
  • October 21 vs. Phoenix Suns (Honda Center – Anaheim, California)
  • October 22 vs. Portland Trail Blazers (Citizens Business Bank Arena – Ontaro, California)
  • Octber 24 vs. Sacramento Kings (MGM Grand Garden Arena – Las Vegas, Nevada)

The Lakers will only leave the state one time, which has to please the players.
