Marshall Henderson said homophobic rant was to help friend with psychology project

On Monday morning, Ole Miss guard Marshall Henderson became the latest to rip ESPN’s coverage of Michael Sam’s draft day reaction by going on a homophobic rant. Apparently, Henderson is worried about all of the “sickening” interaction two people in love share, which can hurt innocent eyes.

Seriously, that is how Henderson started his rant.

Sadly, it was not that surprising to see Henderson go on the rant, but then things took a very interesting turn.

Henderson didn’t exactly apologize for his comments, but he did give a very bizarre explanation.

The reason for Henderson’s rant? According to him, he was helping one of his “best friends, WHO IS GAY,” with a psychology project. Yeah, I don’t think anyone is buying that one, Marshall.
