Roughly a month ago, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning had ankle surgery a month ago, and he is already back at practice. At the Giants offseason workout program Manning took part in football drills and took about half of the practice reps and says he feels 100 percent, even if the trainers don’t.

“I feel 100 percent,” Manning said, via New York Daily News. “But the trainers tell me I’m not.”

“I already feel like I can go out there and do everything,” Manning Added. “We’ll still be smart about it these next few weeks and not overdo anything. If they want to limit me somewhat, I’ll understand that. But I want to take every single rep and they know that.”

Giants offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride hinted that Manning had bounced back from similar operations in the pass with out much issue.

“He has bounced back from minor procedures in the past that nobody knew about,” Gilbride said via Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News.
