LSU Football Recruiting: Jevonte Domond commits to Tigers

The LSU Tigers added their 11th commitment to the class of 2015 with the addition of junior college offensive tackle Jevonte Domond (Glendale, Az. Glendale Community College) on Tuesday, according to Shea Dixon of Geaux247.

The 6-6, 305-pound offensive tackle is a three-star recruit according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings and the No. 47 JUCO player, No. 9 offensive tackle and the top JUCO recruit in the state of Arizona. Domond received his offer from LSU on May 1 from new offensive line coach Jeff Grimes and picked the Tigers over early offers from Miami, Florida, Louisville, Wisconsin and Oklahoma State, among others.

Domond is the third offensive lineman to commit to LSU as he joins five-star tackle Maea Teuhema (Keller, Texas. Keller) who committed on signing day in February and three-star tackle Adrian Magee ( Franklinton, La. Franklinton).

LSU now has the No. 4 ranked class in the nation and the No. 3 ranked class in the SEC with the commitment of Domond with five-star cornerback Kevin Toliver II (Jacksonville, Fla.) the headliner of the class as the No. 2 ranked player in the nation.
