Matt Brown moves up one spot in UFC Fighter Rankings

Following every UFC event, the mixed martial arts media submits their rankings for each division across the UFC that makes up the official UFC Fighter Rankings. After Matt Brown’s impressive performance against Erick Silva at UFC Fight Night 40, many believed that he would receive a boost into the top five but that was not the case.

Despite winning seven fights in a row, Brown has moved up just one spot and now sits at No. 6 in the welterweight rankings.

Brown leapfrogged only American Top Team standout Hector Lombard.
