Preakness betting odds 2014: California Chrome remains heavy favorite

The Preakness Stakes is still a few weeks away, but the folks in Las Vegas are continuously updating their betting odds for this weekend’s race. As we prepare for the horses to take the track at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland, it is none other than California Chrome, who won the 140th running of the Kentucky Derby, that is the heavy favorite among the field.

The biggest longshot for this weekend’s race is filly Ria Antonia, who finished in sixth-place in the Kentucky Oaks and will be ridden by Calvin Borel.
