TMZ releases full video of Beyonce/Solange/Jay Z incident

Almost a full 24-hours later and no one really knows why Solange, Beyonce’s sister, attack her brother-in-law Jay-Z in an elevator at the Met Gala. But the full version of the video, three minutes to be exact, shows that there was more provoking strikes from Solange toward Jay-Z than we initially say:

Let’s do a little play-by-play breakdown to attempt to figure out what exactly happened here:

• As Solange enters the elevator, she looks to already by pissed off.
• The minute Jay-Z walks into the elevator, Solange begins to provoke Jay-Z, pointing fingers and stepping in his face in the process.
• Solange then loses control and begins to attack Jay-Z.
• The body guard then steps in to try and control the situation. Doesn’t work.
• As the bodyguard grabs Solange, she attempts to kick Jay-Z, missing each shot.
• After more arguing, she then kicks Jay-Z near the mid-section. He reacts.
• As the two argue, Solange throws quite the temper tantrum as the bodyguards continues to restrain her. Beyonce has yet to do anything at this moment.
• Looking to attack Jay-Z again, Solange lands a kick. This time Jay-Z responds by grabbing Solange’s leg, hoping to stop her from kicking him. This is where Beyonce finally steps in to calm things down.
• Solange continues to yell at Jay-Z.
• While holding Solange, the bodyguard stops the elevator.
• Beyonce and Jay-Z continue to talk in the corner while the bodyguard continues to contain Solange.
• The bodyguard lets Solange go, then stands between she and the other two, separating them. Solange continues to argue with Jay-Z.
• At least 30 seconds later, the elevator stops and the three prepare to walk off.
• Before the walk off, Solange confronts Jay-Z again, being grabbed by the bodyguard to stop another confrontation.
• Jay-Z and Beyonce then engage in conversation, more serious than the last reported one.
• Beyonce walks off elevator.
• Solange takes ANOTHER swing at Jay-Z with her purse, missing as the body guard steps in. The three then exit the elevator.

In all of that, it’s still hard to try and draw an conclusion from the silent film. The only thing obvious is that prior to the three stepping into the elevator, the issue had already been a thing. Solange just chose to exert her frustrations in a closed area. Following the Met Gala, Jay-Z rode in a separate vehicle from Beyonce and Solange meaning the issue was never resolved. During Game 3 of Nets-Heat you could see some type of agitation on the faces of Jay-Z and Beyonce, a sort of awkwardness that was never evident in any other Nets appearance.

Despite the tape being revealed early yesterday, Jay-Z and Beyonce appeared at Heat-Nets Game 5 as Lebron James put on the best performance of the playoffs. The two looked more chipper than they did two nights ago.

Beyonce and Jay-Z are normal like us, just having more money than the majority of their followings, but questions still remain and one that everyone wants to know is what happened? It’s possible we’ll never know.
