Just in time for the summer, the Sony and Epic Records is capitalizing on the rising fame of Michael Jackson’s huge posthumous hit “Love Never Felt So Good” which features Grammy award winning singer Justin Timberlake.
With “Xscape” being released nearly a week ago, the Timberland-produced song has quickly gain popularity, appearing in commercials during the NBA Playoffs and receiving heaving airplay on the radio. Currently “Love Never Felt So Good” stands at 20th on Billboards Hot 100 charts. Considering how good the song is and who it’s by, it won’t be a shock to see “Xscape” stand atop the album charts by next Tuesday.
As they did with all videos from Jackson’s previous posthumous album “Michael”, the video consists of Justin Timberlake and others MJ die-hards dancing around and mimicking the moves of the fallen dancer as they include clips of Jackson’s old videos such as “Bad”, “Thriller”, and “Smooth Criminal”. Just imagining what Jackson would have cooked up of this video makes one wish he was still alive, but given the circumstances, this song and video were well put together.
Enjoy the video. There will surely be more to come as “Xscape” is an excellent album.
