Last week a photo surfaced on the internet of Alabama Crimson Tide running back Derrick Henry showing off his new Dodge Charger, which of course led to a lot of jokes about Alabama and head coach Nick Saban providing some “extra benefits” to the players in the recruiting process and once they got on campus.

One of the people that took a shot over the internet was former West Virginia QB Pat White, who took his own dig by implying that he had been offered a Corvette during his recruitment which he ultimately turned down.

Well in a bit of a convenient and rather hilarious twist, just a short time ago Saban was asked about the claims, and he was so disinterested in talking about the subject that he offered up the most Saban response possible.

Okay, take some time to get your laughter together because I know it’s hard, I still haven’t stopped.

Of course though, there isn’t much any coach can say when a claim like that is thrust in their direction. it just so happens that we were lucky enough, for our own entertainment, that this time it was Saban and he delivered a great response once again.

Now can we ask Steve Spurrier something about this, please?
