The Division delayed to 2015

What had been rumored for a while has now been made official as Ubisoft has announced that Tom Clancey’s The Division, Ubisoft’s open-world shooter, has been delayed into 2015.

“As you have noticed, The Division is not included into our full-year guidance,” Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said during Thursday’s year-end earnings report conference call. “It will now be released in calendar 2015. We will provide more information on this highly anticipated new brand at E3.”

The Division was expected to be released in the fall of 2014, but a fall 2015 release is now the likely time frame.

More to come.
