One of the more talked about occurrences in the entertainment world this week has been the fight between rap mogul and entrepreneur Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce’s sister, Solange, that was caught on tape in an elevator and, of course, released directly to TMZ.
On Thursday, representatives for Jay-Z released a statement to the Associated Press stating that all is well in the family once again and everyone has moved on from the incident.
“As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it,” an exclusive statement to The Associated Press read Thursday. “Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.”
This is really the first time that anyone within the family has commented publicly on the incident since it came out, although of course they were going to have to eventually regarding the matter.
Whether or not it’s true, who knows. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
