USC Football Recruiting: Three-star DL Noah Jefferson commits to Trojans

The USC Trojans received their second commitment from a defensive linemen this week as Noah Jefferson (Las Vegas, Nev. Desert Oasis) became the seventh to commit to Steve Sarkisian and the Trojans for the 2015 class.

The 6-5, 271-pound strongside defensive end is a three-star recruit and received his scholarship offer from the coaches last week and didn’t make it a secret that he likely would be committing to USC sooner rather than later.

On his protected twitter account Jefferson wrote, “I am now commuting to the University of Southern California, to god be the glory #fighton.”

Jefferson is the No. 557 ranked player in the nation, the No. 28 player at his position and the No. 3 ranked player in the state of Nevada by The 247Sports Composite Rankings.

With the commitment of Jefferson, USC has the No. 15 ranked class in the nation and the No. 1 class in the Pac-12 conference.

San Diego State and San Jose State were among the other schools to offer the Vegas lineman.

Jacob Daniel (Clovis, Calif. Clovis North), a four-star defensive tackle committed earlier this week, making it a successful week on the recruiting trail for USC as the Trojans begin to stockpile their talent under first-year head coach Steve Sarkisian to get back to the dominance they are accustomed to.
