After kicking around the free agency for a while, closer Heath Bell has finally found a home once again in the Majors. According to FOXSports insider Ken Rosenthal, the Baltimore Orioles have bolstered their bullpen and added Bell to rescue him from the clutches of baseball unemployment.

It’s just a minor league deal for Bell, who was once a hot trade commodity thanks to some solid seasons at the major league level not too long ago. But as we see so often in baseball, flukes happen and Bell’s value seems to have dipped rather significantly since we last heard from him.
Still, the Orioles really have nothing to lose by signing him to a minor league deal as he may have something of value left to offer and at the end of the day, you can never have too much pitching American League bullpens, especially when you’re trying to make a deep postseason push like the Orioles are planning on doing.
