Cleveland Browns release Greg Little

The Cleveland Browns are waiting to hear exactly how long they will be without star wide receiver Josh Gordon for the 2014-15 regular season. Meanwhile, they have added veteran wide receivers Miles Austin and Earl Bennett.

As the Browns receiving corp begins to receive a face lift, there is another change that took place on Friday morning.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Browns have released Greg Little.

Little’s release does not come as a huge surprise, but that does mean rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel will not be working with the Browns top receivers from a year ago if he breaks through to the starting line up.

For the Browns, they better hope that Austin can stay healthy and that Bennett can be a serviceable option or they will be very limited with their offensive weapons.

The good news for Cleveland is they have a quality running back and they have Jordan Cameron at tight end. Other than that, they aren’t looking so hot.
