First Gears of War Xbox One concept art

Black Tusk Studio, taking over the Gears of War series from Epic Games, is starting to tease the fan base as the patiently grow closer to their reveal of the first next generation Gears of War Experience.

Rod Ferguson, Manager of Black Tusk Studio, teased fans with the first concept art during a twitch live stream.  While obviously a tease in the largest sense, Ferguson made sure to blur the entire piece of artwork out.  Obviously it could have just been a joke, but based on the blurring, it does look to be some sort of landscape.

The game is still in the early phases, but with E3 just a few weeks away, we may have a bit more information to go off of shortly.  Ferguson has noted in multiple situations that Black Tusk will be doing their best to not only deliver on a fun and intense experience, but also stay true to what made the Gears of War franchise what it is.

At the conclusion of his live stream on Twitch, Ferguson made sure to note that it is Black Tusk’s goal to return the game and series to the heights it once experienced and noted:

"I’m just grateful to have a community like Gears‘. […] There’ just nobody like you guys"

We can only hope to gain a few more details at this years E3.  With Judgement having released in March of 2013, and leaving a sour taste in the communities mouth, we can only hope for the next-gen iteration of Gears to be here sooner rather than later.
