One of the first teams Australian point guard Dante Exum set up a meeting with was the Orlando Magic and the two sides chatted Thursday night.

That comes as no surprise. Several reports have indicated Exum would love to play for the Orlando Magic because of his relationship with the Magic’s 2013 draft pick, Victor Oladipo. Exum met the second-overall pick of last year’s draft on an official visit to the Indiana Hoosiers and the two quickly bonded.

According to Josh Robbins of The Orlando Sentinel, he will soon be invited to visit Orlando and work out for the Magic.

"Many NBA talent evaluators regard him as the draft’s best point-guard prospect and a likely top-five pick. Orlando Magic executives and coaches interviewed him Thursday night, and team officials will invite him to visit Central Florida soon for a workout and additional interviews. You can call Exum this draft’s “International Man of Mystery,” a prospect who tantalizes because he stands 6-feet-6 in sneakers and possesses the athleticism and grit to drive through the lane and attack the basket."

Exum measured in at 6’6 in shoes and 196 pounds in at the Scouting Combine.
