Plenty of Michigan State Spartans’ basketball players have had fine NBA careers and guard Gary Harris could be the next in line.
Although he plays better off of the ball, he may be asked to play some point guard and has great size to that if need be.
Gary Harris measured 6′ 2″ in socks. 6′ 6.75″ wingspan. 8′ standing reach. 204 pounds. Pretty small for a two guard.

He’s also getting a lot of attention from NBA teams. According to Adam Zagoria of SNY.TV, Harris has interviewed with the Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, Memphis Grizzlies, Toronto Raptors and one of the Los Angeles teams, presumably the Lakers, but Zagoria did not specify.
Harris is ranked as the 13th-best overall prospect in the 2014 NBA Draft according to Draft Express. Harris averaged 16.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.8 steals per game last season.
