Playstation 4 still best selling system, inFamous: Second Son best selling game

Sony Computer Entertainment is again looking on and smiling as the latest NPD figures show the Playstation 4, for the fourth month in a row, outsold its competition, the Xbox One.

Senior Vice President of Playstation Brand Marketing, Guy Longworth, had this to say about the news:

"The April NPD report confirmed that PlayStation 4 was the top-selling next generation console and remains the cumulative leader. in addition, inFAMOUS: Second Son was the top-selling next-gen software title in April.Since PS4 launched last november, over 7 million consumers have enjoyed the rich and immersive gameplay, powerful graphics and deeply integrated social features only available on PlayStation. Demand for PS4 continues to outstrip supply and we’re working incredibly hard to provide additional inventory.We’d like to thank the PlayStation Nation for their amazing support and we’re looking forward to sharing exciting news at E3 next month."

With inFamous: Second Son falling off top charts so drastically in the United Kingdom, Sony has to be ecstatic that the success has continued in the United States.  While this news is all great for Sony, look for them to come into E3 looking to further their successful path into the next generation.
