At the 2014 Billboard Music Awards live from Las Vegas, the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson made an appearance to perform a single from his new album “Xscape.” He took a play out of rapper Tupac’s book by performing as a hologram like Tupac did at the Coachella music festival.
The Michael Jackson hologram was more elaborate than that one though, it included a background, back up dancers, and a spot light. It was truly remarkable for those of us watching at home.
But how did it look for those in attendance? Well, it looks like it was just about as incredible in person. Boxer Floyd Mayweather, who as fought in Vegas earlier this month, posted a video of the performance to his Instagram account.
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was also on hand for the performance, there to introduce a performer earlier in the night. He also posted a video of the performance to his Instagram account.
