The Arizona Diamondbacks and the Los Angeles Dodgers are in final game of their weekend series.
Arizona’s looking to take two games out of the three game set after dropping the first game by the score of 7-0 on Friday, but bounced back with a huge 18-7 win yesterday night. Last night’s game caused the Dodgers to pull the 2013 National League Cy Young award winning pitcher Clayton Kershaw from the game after just 1 2/3 innings.
Last night’s story besides D’backs hitters was one fan who did something that is pretty rare. Unless you’re one of the quickest fans in the outfield. D’backs fan Cameron Wright attended last night’s game and caught two home run balls. One was hit by Los Angeles Dodgers’ Yasiel Puig while the other was hit by Chris Owings.
It’s obvious that he threw the Puig ball back onto the field (just like Cubs fans in Wrigley Field) and kept the ball hit by Owings. Both home runs were hit deep to left center field where the fan was sitting. Here’s a look at the video courtesy of MLB.com.
