It looks like the defending National Champion Florida State have added another commitment in the class of 2015.
According to The Orlando Sentinel, 3-star wide receiver Nyqwan ‘Noonie’ Murray committed to the Seminoles over the week.
“It feels great,” Murray told Chris Hays of The Orlando Sentinel. “I’m real excited. I told them I would commit. I told them I would last week. They said they had a meeting about me yesterday with Coach Fisher. They talked about it and then they called an offered me today.”
The 5’11, 180-pound Murray is from Orlando, Florida and attends Oak Ridge High School. Murray is ranked as the country’s 161st-best wide receiver prospect, the 190th-best overall prospect in the state of Florida and the 1,334th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Murray was thought to be a South Carolina Gamecocks’ lean, but instead chose the Seminoles over offers from the Gamecocks, Central Florida Knights, Cincinnati Bearcats, Duke Blue Devils, South Florida Bulls and and Virginia Cavaliers.
There has been some debate about Murray’s commitment and even if he is not considered an official commitment, he will be soon.
He becomes the 10th verbal commitment for the Seminoles in 2015, which is currently ranked 13th in the country.
