Johnny Manziel gets Cleveland themed song (Audio)

The Cleveland Browns traded up in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft to select Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel. Despite bringing in the highest profile quarterback in the draft, the Browns are taking a “beat him down” and “you’re a normal rookie” approach.

Browns owner Jimmy Haslam even publicly told Manziel that Cleveland is not Hollywood, as if he could get the two confused. It will be hard to drive that message home when people are recording and releasing songs about him.

What Rovell wrote doesn’t make a whole lot of sense considering Drake wrote that whole “Draft Day” song about him, but still it is Manziel’s first Browns themed song. Possibly many more to come, brace yourself for Drizzy to come out when the Browns inevitably don’t live up to expectations.

I’ll assume you’re just one more butt hurt sportswriter who applied for credentials to attend the rookie minicamp in Cleveland. FYI this bit of snark is a dead givaway… “when the Browns inevitably don’t live up to expectations” Make sure you don’t spoil you appetite, because I live for the day you have to eat those words. Oh and by the way, it could be that incessant comments like that are the main reason the Browns and their fans have no problem telling you guys to go pound salt.
