Justin Morneau crushes walk-off homer for Rockies

The wind seemed to have gone out of the Rockies’ sails when Everth Cabrera nailed a two-run home run to tie the game for the Padres in the 9th. It was against Colorado’s closer, after all.

The game would go to extra innings, and the Padres would not score in the top of the 10th. With a man on and two out, though, Dale Thayer threw a pitch to Justin Morneau.

The shot was Morneau’s 6th career walk-off home run.
