The Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers have no love lost between the two of them and we are starting to see that in this Eastern Conference Finals series. In Miami’s last series against Brooklyn, the cheap shots came in the middle of plays and were blended into what seemed to be plays on the ball but were really just all about whacking LeBron James in the mouth.
Again we’re starting to see that style of embedded aggression from the Heat and LeBron James was on the dishing end rather than the receiving end this time. In a tightly contested second quarter, James went up for a rebound but more or less shoved George Hill over as a consolation prize.
The Heat and Pacers do not like each other and will not be getting along all series, and we can expect these sort sod subtle cheap hots to add up and start becoming more noticeable away from the basketball.
