On Sunday afternoon, the Los Angeles Kings and Chicago Blackhawks get their Western Conference Finals series underway with Game 1 at the United Center.

While the Kings enter the series riding some momentum following their big win over the Anaheim Ducks in Game 7, they understand that the Blackhawks enter the series as the defending Stanley Cup champions for a reason.

“They’re obviously defending champs, and we want to take that back,” Kings forward Jarret Stoll said, via ESPN.com. “We know what it takes to win and we’ve tasted that and it tastes pretty good. So we want to get it back from them.”
