North Carolina State unveils 'Pack in Black' helmet (Photo)

Over the weekend, the North Carolina State football team announced that they will be having a new helmet for the 2014 college football season. In the past, the team has worn a white helmet with red logo and a red helmet with a white logo, but their new “Pack in Black” helmet brings a completely new look to the program.

The bottom part of the helmet is red, while the top part features a carbon fiber type pattern with a black facemask.

If these helmets are paired with an alternate all-black uniform that has red and silver accents, North Carolina State could have one of the most impressive and underrated looks in all of college football.

Here is an up close look at the team’s new helmet:

What you may not see, however, is the awesome detail in the red section of the helmet. On the back of the helmet, there is a wolf’s face with some eyes. It is a pretty fancy look:
