Cleveland Indians fan tries to catch home run, takes ball to the face (Video)

Sometimes it is embarrassing how excited grown men get for catching balls at baseball games. It is even worse seeing grown men dive for free beads at a meaningless St. Patrick’s Day parade in Dallas, Texas.

But back to the subject at hand. During the Cleveland Indians game, a player turned and threw a baseball into the stands behind left field. A grown man in his 20s cuts all the way from the aisle into the middle section to try and make a play on the baseball. Leaving his girlfriend sitting by herself temporarily.

He was in the right spot to catch the baseball, his hands were up, but somehow it went straight through and hit him right in the face. It was hilarious.

He sits down temporarily, and his sunglasses fly off the back of his hat. He grabs his nose with both hands and retreats to his seat. He returns to his girlfriend who looks somewhat concerned and someone comes to check on him.

He gives the guy a casual high-five while repeatedly checking on his face.
