The Chicago Bulls clearly want to get their hands on either New York Knicks’ forward Carmelo Anthony or Minnesota Timberwolves’ power forward Kevin Love.

The first demand the Timberwolves would probably make in talks with the Bulls for Love is the inclusion of Bulls’ all-star center Joakim Noah.

Sam Smith of Bulls.com wonders if the Bulls would give up Noah in a Love trade.

"Would you trade Joakim Noah for Love? With no center and Love’s modest defensive reputation, that would seem a huge mistake. There’s no indication the Bulls would even consider something like that. And Minnesota has two centers already. The problem the Bulls would have is all their “assets,” the draft picks and the rights to Nikola Mirotic, don’t have a monetary value until they are signed. Only Mirotic would sign for enough money to trade with matching salaries that include Taj Gibson. The Bulls would hate to give up Gibson, but you’d certainly have to consider that for someone like Love."

Not only is Noah an excellent player, he is a Chicago fan favorite and has become one of the more popular players in the league.

Love averaged 26.1 points, 12.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game while Noah went for 12.6 points, 11.3 rebounds,5.4 assists, 1.5 blocks, 1.2 assists and was named the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year this season.
