While it won’t have many game modes, EA Sports UFC will have the all important career mode when it launches on June 17 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. On Tuesday, more details surrounding the career mode were revealed thanks to FOX Sports Marc Raimondi.
Players will be able to use their created fighters or the pre-order bonus of Bruce Lee (after beating the career on the second-highest difficulty) in the mode. Unfortunately, current UFC fighters are not able to be used in the mode. However, some will be a part of your career as they pay visits to you while you train to become the best fighter in the world.
So, if you were hoping to take your favorite fighter and take him from the ranks of zero to a hero, then you will be thoroughly disappointed. That being said, the Ultimate Fighter career mode still has me excited enough to not care that I can’t take Anderson Silva back to the bottom just to build him up again.
