Jim Kelly finishes chemotherapy

There is some great news to pass along in the NFL world Tuesday afternoon, as Jill Kelly has provided an update on her husband. Jim Kelly, the Buffalo Bills legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer, has been undergoing chemotherapy to treat the oral cancer that returned earlier this year.

Kelly has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments in New York as he fights his latest battle with cancer, and the good news is that his chemotherapy treatment is has finally come to an end.

Jill Kelly said, “As of right now, this very moment, Jim is DONE with chemotherapy!”

The Buffalo Bills passed along the news on social media along with a photo of Jim Kelly holding a sign that reads, “Last Chemo!! Thank you God!! #prayersforJK”

While it is great that the chemotherapy treatments are now over, Kelly’s battle with cancer is still ongoing.

With that in mind, let’s all remember the message that Kelly shared earlier this month and continue to rally behind him as we hope for him to get fully healthy.

“Keep those prayers coming,” he said. “I sure need them. Without you I wouldn’t be able to get through this. God bless you.”
